Far Cry 4 Game Performance Review

i have an i7-4770k
16 gigs ram
gtx 770 ftw edition w/ ACX cooling
and I can run this game at ultra 1080p 45 fps but I prefer to have it at very high/ ultra to have my stable 55 fps

and according to these comments people with a 270x are getting the same fps or more as me and I have done research on that card before and it dosnt seem nearly as powerful as a 770

You are probably running with anti aliasing enabled. I'm willing to bet those with the r9 270x are not. AA killed performance for AMD cards from what I have read. It was even recommended to turn other settings down to get better results. Honestly there are too many variables to factor in. There is no way a r9 270x would beat a GTX770 if they used the exact same settings. The GTX770 is par with the r9 280x for the most part.

PS: Water and AA have the biggest impact in FC3/4. Turn off AA and lower the water to medium and watch your FPS shoot up.
