[SOLVED] Fast internet speeds, but long, to no, connections until restart?

Lately, I've had an issue where my PC will start being able to connect to sites and servers almost instantly but as it stays on the connections take longer to establish, until I restart and then it's fine again. The degrade seems to happen faster and more frequently now. Even when I'm having issues connecting to various websites at random, Discord, Steam, and/or Twitch through OBS, but once I'm connected to something everything there loads quickly. Various speed test sites still show me getting about 100/100 Mbps, so the speed is still there, I just can't connect to things without many refreshes or a full system restart.

I have CCleaner and MalwareBytes, but those don't show any issues, neither does the Windows troubleshooter. I grabbed complete Internet Repair to maybe try some fixes I couldn't think of, but nothing seems to have worked. I've also updated everything I can think of.

I'm using Windows 10 Pro x64 with an Ethernet connection through a Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller. I'm hooked up using CAT7 cables with a TP-Link 5-port Gigabit Switch (TL-SG105) with 2 ports in use (including mine) and that's connected to an ActionTec ECB6000 MoCA receiver. Nothing else in the house uses the coax so we removed all other connectors to give the most direct connection between the router and my box. My wife's computer is hooked to the same switch and she's had no issues.

I haven't yet found a fix, probably because I'm not searching for the right issue, but I'm currently at a loss as to what the problem is. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Namaste 🙏 Jyrz,
I was facing this very issue on Windows 8.1 and I think that this solution would also work with Windows 10.
I don't know why this weird problem occurs but the solution that worked for me was turning off the fast shutdown. To do that you can refer to this link :-

I hope this helps you.

Wishing you good health

I thought I had that turned off, but I must have left it on the last time I reinstalled Windows. I'll give that a try and see if anything changes. Thanks.
