fast user switching

No matter what I've tried I can't get fast user switching
to work. I always need to log off the user that
originally logged on and then log in another user.

Well,
Mine used to work. Now all of a sudden it quit on me and I have to log one
person out to log on someone else....ArrrrGhhh!!! HElP!!!
