I've got a XP2200 lying around and wondered if it would go in this MB.
Currently I've got a 1400 in it. This MB is the one with RAID on board

I've looked at cpu-support-mature.pdf and its says either NO or 2100+ or
2400+

Thanks Paul

No I would not suggest XP as the board is older design.

I have had a amd 2400+ 266fsb on my 8KTA3+ for over three months now and
having no problems with it.

I have known of many others whom have done the same and having no problems
also.

The fsb must not exceed the fsb of that board which is 266

Epox just want you to buy another board and hopefully theirs heheheh

Geeeee i just sent this message direct to the Epox TECH by mistake LOL

Fluffy

You are free to plug in any CPU you wish - its your right. But we do not
guarantee they will work.

Is there any special tricks or settings to get this CPU to work? I
have a spare 2400 (266mhz) and I was planning on plugging it in, just
to see what happens. It has the most current BIOS installed.
