fatal exception

I would like to know if a fatal exception 0E at 0028:C0006EB2 in vxd vmm(01) + 00005EB2 is a video card problem or what? I have a P3-550 on a microstar 6199va motherbaord, using a tornado geforce2 mx 32mb, and i am getting this problem when i try to run dtr, str:sprint cars. nba live 2000, madden 2000, and nhl 2000. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

First try running the direct draw tests in windows to see what results you get.

It causes the same error at various points in the running of the drawing tests. I read somewhere that the card can't share an irq with anything else, and I noticed that my modem also uses the same irq (11). How can I change this? I have a free irq (9) in my system.
