Hi, I turned on my PC today and there was no display.
I changed HDMI cables, used the DVI ports, reseated the GPU, reset BIOS, uninstalled and installed drivers. The motherboards onboard video works perfectly though.

What is wrong?
Is it the GPU or motherboard 6+2 pin cables?
Thanks

I believe that the problem is that the pc is still trying to use the onboard igpu...Dont worry, this is a simple fix.
1.Remove gpu from motherboard.
2.Connect motherboard to moniter using hdmi or any way you have.
3.TUrn on pc and tap f2 on the keyboard and get into the bios...
4.Once in bios go to the option called south bridge configuration.
5.Once in this, go into the option that says "primary graphics adapter.
6.Change it from igpu to pci-e(or pci, but i would try pci-e first)
7.Restart pc and shut it back down.
8.Reconnect gpu and make sure that it is connected to the motherboard via the power cable on it.
9.Connect gpu to moniter via hdmi and try turning it on...
If this works please let me know ...If not also let me know. Most likely this is not a faulty card. Good luck :)

Hi, am pretty sure I have also tried it, and primary graphics was set to PCI-E slot. Still did not work.
I will try again on Sunday when I get my GPU back from friend who was gonna test it, but did not have time.

Any other fixes?
Reasons for believing that this is not a faulty GPU?

Yes, my reason is that GPU's dont usually just break unless it was very old or overclocked...

Yeh, works fine without the GPU, fans spin, display from motherboard onboard graphics. Just no display from GPU
Thinking it could be the PSU's 6+2 pins only that are faulty?

Yeh, found out that the GPU had rust. Sent RMA to Sapphire and got refund from seller that sold it to me second-hand
