My computer suddenly shut down yesterday and at reboot I have green vertical lines running through the monitor. I also have other kinds of lines during boot, shown on pictures. I can boot in safe mode but not in normal mode.

Next step is to get a VGA cable tomorrow and try booting up with internal graphics card on motherboard.
I'm mostly worried that I can't boot into windows, except for going in safe mode. Is this normal when you have a failed GPU?
Any thoughts?

- Have swapped monitor, not at fault
- Have swapped HDMI cable, not at fault
- Cleaned the GPU's fan which was very dusty. No visual damages. Card is sitting well in the slot
