Faulty MSI Nforce Manual

To anybody out there that is thinking of buying an MSI Nforce motherboard beware. The shipped manual has a misleading diagram relating to clearing/storing the CMOS settings. The diagram is upside down and if you follow the manual's directions you will power up the board in the clear CMOS mode which damages the motherboard. MSI have an updated manual on their website which addresses this issue but existing manuals are still in circulation in England, I don't know if you lads over in the states have the same release, but I thought I'd let everybody know.

Ditto. I doubt starting the system in Clear CMOS mode would damage it, but who knows.

True I've heard that these Mobos hold a secret code which is revealed if these jumpers are used as shown in the manual. To hide this code (which shows when the machine boots up) MSI built in a self destruct system. To prevent view of the code by people who are not using the machine - ie peering through the owners window and seeing their monitor MSI built the self destuct to clear a 5 mile radius. So if you know some one who has one that likes to tinker. Either smash their mobo or move house. Best place to move to would be Nevada Desert. Though the self destruct would clear a 10 mile radius due to lack of material to slow the explosion.

the diagram for the led and switch connectors are wrong in the manual too. the website has the correct ones.

i went to the tomshardware forums and all i got was this lousy signature.
