I believe Fax is available in XP Home. But I don't have it. What do I have
to do? I'm on broadband.
TIA

Fax does not work with broadband.. you need to either get a regular 56k
modem or use a 'fax to e-mail' service..

You cannot FAX on a broadband connection. Fax requires a dial up connection
or a modem connected to a phone jack.

Thanks.

Just another question, maybe related. My post did not appear at the top of
the page, but way down to 8/15, where there was another fax question.
Couldn't find it at first and was going to resend, when I decided to look
thru. Why is it like that?

You are probably sorting by subject. Click where it says Sent to sort by
date, or in the toolbar click View, Sort By, Sent.

Right Click on Subject, nothing is ticked.
Right Click on Sent. it is ticked on "Sort Descending."
Clicked on View/Sort it is ticked "Sent"
It all looks OK, but I still have the problem.
All headers recd are in date descending order, which is fine and the way I
want it, except when I send a post, it goes down into a similar subject
heading.

If there is no References header line (and there isn't on a new post), OE
puts it in a thread with all other posts of the same subject.
