Dear Community,

As the title suggest, I am seeking feedback on this new build: 2019 PC Build. This will be my third "iteration"/"build" since I first got into building PC's myself. I am looking for feedback specifically on the following areas:
  • What would you do different and why?
  • Is it worth it to replace case fans with aftermarket fans (e.g. Noctua)
  • I would like to push this system to its limits, with this being said, would you suggest top case mounted fans (e.g. 200mm or similar)?
  • Is it possible to get the benefit of Intel Optane with an AMD Processor? If so, what size would be the most appropriate for someone who only plays a few games regularly as well as uses some various engineering related software's regularly?
Please ignore the two Samsung SSD's as I included them for completeness of the build. I will be transferring them from my current machine to this new one.
The only major thing which is currently subject to change is the case (throw suggestions as well if you would like). I mention this as I intend on air cooling this machine so air flow is going to be an important factor.

Love this community and its help over the years.

As Always, Many thanks!

First i replaced parts without prices with comparable ones.

Replaced the motherboard for a more reasonably priced one.

Put one single matched RGB ram kit. Don't mix 2 kits, even if identical.

You can't go too far with a PSU, but you really don't need anything more than a Corsair RMx 750w for any single GPU system.

The BeQuiet case is a very good model. BeQuiet fans are very good, so no use replacing them. Airflow should be good without adding or replacing fans as it already has 3 good fans.

You can use Intel optane on AMD by using StoreMI, but i just wouldn't. It really wont accelerate a hard drive much and wont do anything to an SSD.
