I just purchased the following:

Corsair Professional Series AX860i 860 Watt Digital ATX/EPS Modular Power Supply
Intel I7-4790K
ASUS Maximus VII Hero Socket LGA 1150 ATX Intel Motherboard

This is my current case:

Cooler Master HAF 922

What CPU cooler should I purchase? Is the stock one good enough for stock speeds/overclocking?
Is the HAF 922 big enough or should I get a different case?

Thank you in advance.

What do you need to overclock that for? Are you using it for games or something else?
If its for games that CPU at stock speeds is more then enough to to do the job if not a bit overkill (I am running i5-3570K 3.40Ghz at stock and handling games like BF4 quite well),
I would only suggest upgrading the cpu cooler for 3 reasons:
1. There is a problem or fault with the stock one
2. You want it quieter so go liquid cooling (personally the fan noises don't bother me, so long as its kept clean from dust buildup it should be fairly quiet).
3. You simply want to overclock for the hell of it coz you can.

Otherwise just stick with the stock cooler, at stock speeds it will do the job.

I just had a look at the case, it has decent airflow design...

I just had a look at the case, it has decent airflow design plenty of nice big case fans and more then enough clearance for larger heatsinks/coolers if you want to go that path.
