Anyone know the order in which files are attached to an Outlook Express
message from XP My Pictures?
When attaching a number of jpg graphics files I note there doesn't seem to
be any set arrangement for showing these in the attach window...Its not in
size order...sometimes its in numerical order..sometimes reverse number
order and sometimes not in number order.
Thanks.

Indeed you are right.... Outlook does not follow alphabetical or size order.
If follows a time order, meaning the TIME you place the file as an
attachment.
You are not seeing this because you are probably adding many images at the
same time so its a bit random, and you get mixed up results,
but if you start a new empty email message and add the images one by one you
will see that the first you add goes to the end of the list and each new pic
you add goes in front of the list.
That is how the order is created, and I have not seen a way one can change
it... perhaps there is a way, but it is not apparent from the outlook GUI.

they're attached in the order you attach them in.
