Hi all......this may be a stupid question, but Im feeling pretty stupid right
now. I have two PCs both running XP Pro. For some reason, I can see file
extentions in Windows Explorer on one of them and not on the other. Both
have their views set to "details". Anybody know what could be happening with
this? Is there a way to change whether file extentions show up or not?

Any discussion would be greatly appreciated.

Hi

Open Windows Explorer and go to Tools>Folder Options>View and disable 'Hide
extensions for known file types'.

Control Panel-Folder Options-View
Uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types"
