filename or extension is too long

I am getting this error all over the place. I first noticed it when trying to install print drivers. But quickly found it popping up when I try to do pretty much anything. Opening msconfig, admin cmd, etc. I can boot into safe mode and it seems fine. I even ran malwarebytes and combo fix. but as soon as return out of safe mode, same issue. I also noticed the admin account on the machine does not seem to have the same issue. However, I need this user account to work.

Any ideas would be awesome! Thanks all!

This is a path length type error.

The best way to fix this is:

In explorer Find Map Network Drive
Select a drive letter
Browse to the folder location with the file in it
Uncheck the box about reconnect at login and click OK
You should now be able to open that folder from the drive letter in Explorer.

Unfortunately this is the only Fix I know to resolve this issue. Maybe someone else has a better fix, as this might be tedious if it's giving you the error on so many items.

This will, at the very least, allow me to get to msconfig. I stepped away for lunch. However, as soon as I get back i will update.
