Files and settings transfer wizard problem? Please help me!

It seems form your earlier posts that the FAST or migwiz isn't going to play ball with you so you may as well do what it does. It trawls your files and settings from the Documents and Settings folder (with hidden files and protected system files showing) which includes all the Application Data. Add in the SystemProfile folders from c:\windows\system32\config and you won't notice much difference when you paste that lot into the new installation. You won't have the programme functionality you used to have but the FAST wouldn't do that either - they need to be reinstalled. I have coped all the Registry over to a new system and overwritten it but I don't recommend it - some programmes did work without reinstallation when I copied over the Program Files folders, including any Common Files.
