Hi everyone. And many thanks for reading this in advance. Just wanna make a quick check before I actually buy my components.
This is my current build:
Pc case: Cooler Master HAF XB EVO ATX Desktop Case.
CPU: Intel core i5 6600K @3.5ghz(oc @ 4.4Ghz) with a EVO hyper cooling 212
GPU: GTX 1080 founders edition
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z170 HDP3 CF.
PSU is a 650W Thermaltake smart bronze.
Ram: G.skill Ripjaws series V DDR4 16GB (4x4gb)
OS: Windows 10 enterprise on SAMSUNG 845DC EVO MZ-7GE240EW 2.5" 240GB SATA III MLC Enterprise Solid State Drive and a HDD 1TB for games
The new components I wanna buy and build with are:
CPU cooler: Noctua NH-U9S 46.4 CFM CPU Cooler
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z170N-WIFI Mini ITX LGA1151 Motherboard
Pc case: Thermaltake Core V1 Mini ITX Tower Case.
I've done the comtabilitly checks on pc part picker.ca and it came out all rigth. Except for the GPU, but I found this video about a dude building with the same case and his gpu apparently fits. (Min 3 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cUlqf_izP94).
I'd like to have everyone's opinions on my components for prive vs performance, reliability etc.
*As a side note, I'm thinking of upgrading my RAM to a single 16 GB stick as the mini itx board has only 2 RAM slots. But I wanna know if it would be worth it for my gaming experience. I've read that you need 16GB only if you do multitasking or encoding video.
