Finalized Build

A little over a month ago I asked for help with my Xmas build:

I have since edited the specs from that post and was wondering if everything "checks out" so to speak. My overall goal is to build this PC and forget about it (except for maintenance) - I don't want to tinker. With that in mind I want to keep everything as cool as possible which I believe will increase all parts' lifespans. Here's what I have:

Corsair Obsidian Series 550D Black Aluminum / Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case (already purchased - love this case already!)
Corsair HX750 Power Supply (already purchased)
Intel 520 240 GB SSD (already purchased)

MSI N680GTX Twin Frozr 2GD5/OC GeForce GTX 680 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card
Seagate Barracuda ST1000DM003 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive
Whatever's on sale: 8 or 16GB DDR 3 Cas 9 1600 RAM
Windows 7

I was advised to go with a Radeon but I just really like NVidia (and so does my tech guy is something goes wrong!).

How does this look? Thanks for the help in advance!

If you're worried about keeping your system cool - do not purchase a Sabertooth. It's overrated, expensive, and the plastic thermal armor actually traps more heat than it prevents. Go with something like the Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD4 TH.

Even if you are an nvidia stalwart, as I am, the 680 is just not a very efficient use of your money. It only performs about ~5% better on average than the 670 for $100+ extra. You can get a 670 for $320 right now here:

You have enough headroom on that power supply that you could add a second one in SLI in a few years to extend the life of the rig as well, but it probably won't be necessary.
