I'm looking to upgrade my GPU from my AMD Radeon HD 7750. I considered that i would get the MSI Nvidia GTX 760.

This is my current PC specs:
CPU - Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3330 CPU @ 3.00GHz

GPU - Gigabyte AMD Radeon HD 7750 2GB OC

RAM - 4GB

Right now, im playing games like Dying Light, Battlefield 4, CS:GO and in the future would like to play GTA 5.

What graphics card that is worthed to upgrade my current GPU?

In my opinion (after getting said 4GB stick, that's quite important) he should instead go for the R9 280X, or the 4GB version of the GTX 760. The sweetspot would be getting the GTX 970 plus the RAM stick, see if you can shed a little more (go for the GTX 780 if you want to save a bit more).

Ok then. I'm just stating that if you're going to get the GTX 760 why not the GTX 960 instead, it's not that MUCH more expensive and yields quite a bit more. I really don't know, probably the GTX 760 will be all the OP needs, as it's still a very capable card.

One of the things that caused controversy about it was the fact that it doesn't surpass the GTX 770 performance, like its brothers 970 and 980 (it's not on par).

Now that I see........... what? Nevermind everything I said, get an R9 280X, I confused this thread with another.

Me too xD...... well, my last point still remains.

To the OP: My suggestion would be getting another 4GB stick (same brand and model preferably) and an R9 280X (period).

Problem is, i kinda have trust issues in AMD graphics card such as overheating. So i was thinking about getting a NVIDIA graphics card. Should i get the R9 280X?

About the Power supply, i do have a 500w power supply.

EDIT: About the "Best Solution" i accidentaly clicked it zz

The MSI R9 280X takes care of the heat problem, though I'd like to know which PSU you have, like which model. I'd also suggest an upgrade to that, depending on your answer.

Edit: You can pick another "Correct Answer" when you feel your problem was solved.

I currently have this PSU http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139027

Yes, you do need an upgrade 😛. That PSU series uses bad quality capacitors. This is a very good option, though it costs quite a bit: http://www.amazon.com/XFX-650W-SERIES-WIRED-BRONZE/dp/B0045L5LGI

Hmmmm, i will consider about buying that later. What will happen if i just buy the R9 280X and install it in my PC?

Probably nothing, and it'll work out fine. Just don't mess with overclocks and try to get the new PSU as fast as possible.

Ok thanks! Which R9 280X brand should i get? MSI? ASUS?

I'd suggest MSI, as I've had good experiences with their cards (good cooling, ocerclocks and performance in general), but I'd say the Asus one is equally good so get either the cheaper or the ones that looks better to you.

Alright then, im gonna get the MSI version of R9 280X. AMD You better not fail me this time :chaudar:
Thanks for taking your time to help me! 😀
