Question finding suitable RAM for Ryzen build

Hello everyone,

I'm building a Ryzen PC for a friend and I am trying to find a good RAM for it. I've stumbled upon a few threads saying that ryzen builds sometimes have problems with running at certain speeds depending on dual rank/single rank and the motherboard+ cpu combination. After doing some research i think i want to use 2x8GB 3200MHz dual rank RAM sticks. Does anyone have any recommendations for that?

here is the build so far: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/gwZXr6

This is going to be the GPU (can't find it on pcpartpicker): https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B0...D9VGH&linkId=28e65bc0ee2fe79d604a5375c0c56ea5

After looking at the qvl sheet of the motherboard which can be found here:

I came up with these RAM sticks: https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B07BBP4RBD/ref=ask_ql_qh_dp_hza

they seem to be supported at 3200MHz by the motherboard and the CPU. What do you guys think? Any recommendations?

thanks for reading

They will work just fine, I like gskill as I have good luck with they're products and Ryzen builds. If you found that kit on the QVL you'll be fine. Kits don't have to be on the list but it's probably better if they are as they have ben tested already

Hello everyone,

I'm still looking for a good RAM kit for my new build.

here is the build so far: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/gwZXr6

This is going to be the GPU (can't find it on pcpartpicker): https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B0...D9VGH&linkId=28e65bc0ee2fe79d604a5375c0c56ea5

Because I've heard that Ryzen seems to have problems with running certain kits at higher speed, I've been struggling to find the right RAM. It seems that Samsung B-die kits are the best choice so i came up with these: https://www.amazon.de/G-Skill-F4-32...200C16D-16GTZ&qid=1551975206&s=gateway&sr=8-1

looking through the qvl sheet of the motherboard I also came up with these: https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B07BBP4RBD/ref=ask_ql_qh_dp_hza

Can anyone tell me which one of these would be better suited for my build (and would be likely to run at 3000 or 3200MHz without any trouble through XMP) or does anyone have any other suggestions?

thanks!
