FireGL 2

That would be a fairly pointless test, as THG pointed out that the Quadro Pro 2 has it all over the FireGL 2 in fill rate and texturing.

What i'm concerned about, is that this is a "workstation" card, where is the Dual CPU test against a single processor to show some form of scaling that the Quadro 2 might benefit from, or the FireGL2 will just have guts and glory all over the Quadro 2.

running Q3A on a FireGL2 vs a Quadro 2 would be a non-event.

it is absolutly pointless.
FireGL2 aim on REAL workstation.
will you pay $1200 on a card to play?!
i won't consider a card which play faster and work slower for the same amount of money. AND, i don't play at office.

I want one that does both very well. The Sun graphics workstation I use for 3D modeling in Ideas Master Series 7 SUCKS and has an ATI (!) graphics processor. My computer is FAR more powerfull and I would like to do some of my work at home......
