Question firmware cc46 for 3tb disk help me please

i can't find the firmware for my 3tb hdd, from firmware cc46, can someone help me with this, thanks

That's probably because they only offer the current version for download, which is CC4H. You'd have to get older versions from Seagate support

I need to reinstall my firmware, right now my PC recognizes the 3tb hdd as 128gb, I need to recover that hdd because of the information it contains, that's why I'm interested in finding the firmware for the hdd, I need to reinstall it to recover that information, can help me please, thanks and sorry for the inconvenience

So - it was reporting full size for a while, and then after some use it just suddenly got bad reporting only 128GB ?

To be honest, I don't think the firmware is the issue here. I just haven't heard about this kind of fault being fixed by updating hdd's firmware before.

Therefore my advice is - assuming you have backup of your data, restore this (to another new hdd you buy or after rma'ing this one).

Even if it were available, it won't do you any good. Your drive is dead.
