So who are you going to trust, your own experience? That's fine but the
downside is that you have to get burned before you learn. Visit the
video groups and ask about buying from buy.com and read the replies...
they will be overwhelmingly negative. There was a recent story about
someone who ordered a video card and the box had been opened and the
wrong card was inside. Buy.com didn't want to make it right, it took
weeks for the guy to get it straight. In other groups people who have
ordered games from buy.com have posted that their serial was already
registered online, obviously stolen by a buy.com employee. Nine out of
ten people that have posted a review on reseller ratings had a negative
experience. Those are people posting their opinions, not a commercial
website making recommendations. It's your money, spend it where you
like, but I wouldn't go around recommending them to others.
