I'm putting together my first custom PC and want to make sure I'm getting a good system, just want to know if my parts work together and any suggestions on better parts, preferably not more expensive.

Case: Rosewill Blackhawk ATX w/ 5 pre installed fans

Mobo: MSI 990FXA-GD65V2 AM3 AMD990FX

CPU: AMD FX-8320 Vishera 3.5Ghz (4.0 turbo) AM3

PSU: Rosewill Capstone 750W 80 gold 12V rail

GPU: XFX Double D radeon 7870 GHz edition Black edition

RAM: Corsair Vengence 8GB 1600mhz

HDD: WD Black 1TB 7200RPM

Solution
Looks good to me.

I assume the 750w PSU is because you'll be adding a 2nd 7870 in the future for Crossfire. If not, drop it down to a 500-550w unit.

Other than that, everything looks good.
Unless you want to bring costs down and want alternatives suggestions, that is.

Get either of these instead.

550w is actually already more than plenty for a single GPU system.
The reason for the 630w suggestion is because it's on sale and it's basically a steal.

About the CPUs, the FX-8320 is fine. Games are mostly GPU reliant, not so much on CPU. Piledriver is a great update from the Bulldozer line.

The FX-8320 is basically the FX-8350 minus 0.5Ghz which you can easily OC.
