Well a year from now when you're playing Metro 2044 then you should expect a drop from 40fps to 24 fps if it's graphics are demanding enough to push the latest generations card as metro 2033 has. But of course you would turn the settings down to look more like metro 2033, in which case you'd be back to 40 fps. My point is that the fps hit is fairly substantial and unjustified, especially since the monitor itself is 1200 dollars. I would recommend getting the ASUS monitor I previously recommended to have a good 27'' screen with an extra 20 fps.
