As the title states, I am a past console gamer.. I love video games, but with this current generation that is rolling out there are no consoles that I would be interested in putting any money into. Also with most of my friends beginning to become interested in PC gaming I would like to move into their realm.

I would like to be able to play all of the modern games that are released for the current gen consoles, but just on PC (such as watch dogs, BF4 and others)

I am looking for a really good rig, but not wanting to roll out a ton of $$$ (I am a student working minimum wage jobs) $700 would be an IDEAL budget but would go higher if it made an outstanding difference.

Any help would be appreciated, seeing as this is my first time wanting to have a serious gaming PC.

the micro center walk in for the 17 4770k at 199 is the fastest gaming cpu that out there now that a good buy there are faster intel cpu but there 500 or more. the top end gaming cards the 780/780ti run you 500-700 for one card. the amd 290x/290 are less money but have fan noise and heat issues right now. the 9xxx cards are last years cards there still good cards there just going to be fazed out by amd.
