Primary interests: (not hardcore) Gaming, multi-tasking (or just having a lot of stuff opened up at the same time), video editing (motion graphics) and fast and smooth SO performance.
Not interested in: SSD, overclocking, water cooling, SLI/Crossfire
Worried about: Consumption.
Already have: Monitor (1920x1080), mouse, keyboard, OS (Win7Ultx64)
Budget range: less than 700€ ($920)
--------------------------------------------------
CPU: AMD FX Series FX-6350 (130€/$171)
or AMD FX Series FX-6300 (102€/$134) just because it goes from 125W to 95W consumption wise (and I won't probably notice the difference).
GPU: Asus GeForce GTX 650 Ti 2GB GDDR5 (148€/$194)
or Sapphire Radeon HD 7850 Dual-X 1GB GDDR5 (159€/$209)
PSU: Cooler Master GX 750W V2 (78€/$102)
or Corsair GS700 V2 700W (82€/$108)
or Corsair GS600 V2 600W (75€/$99)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 412S CPU Cooler (29€/$38)
or Thermaltake Contac 30 CPU Cooler (31€/$40)
or Arctic Cooling CPU Freezer 13 Pro (33€/$43)
or Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO (29€/$38)
or Scythe Katana 4 (26€/$34)
RAM: Corsair Vengeance PC3-12800 DDR3 1600 8GB 2x4GB 9-9-9-24 (72€/$94)
or G.Skill Ripjaws X DDR3 1600 PC3-12800 8GB 2x4GB 7-8-8-24 (73€/$96)
I read in these forums, you should not buy RAM with more than 1333mHz, is that true though?
MOBO: Gigabyte GA-970A-D3 (76€/$100)
Case: NOX Hummer SX (43€/$56)
Fan: NOX Knik 120x120 (5€/$6)
I won't probably buy more, cause the case already have 1, and I doubt I can fit another one on top because of the cpu cooler.
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 1TB SATA3 (57€/$75)
Speakers: Logitech LS21 2.1 (26€/$34)
DVD Reader: Liteon IHAS120 (16€/$21)
Card reader: B-Move BM-CR07 (7€/$9)
--------------------------------------------------
It's everything compatible in this list?
What am I missing?
What should I remove?
How would you improve this build?
Is there enough power for that?
What should I get if I decided to go for a Intel setup?
