Hey everyone I am trying to set up my first gaming build but I wanted to get some comments on it before going through with it. Here is the link for the parts im considering: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/WJ6YBm. My budget is between $1200 - 1400, but of course I would prefer the better bang for buck parts. I need help especially on what memory, video card, and psu would be best as there are so many to choose from. I am hoping to overclock. Also would it be better to get the NZXT S340 or Phantom 410?

Go with an Intel i5 4460 and get rid of the aftermarket cooler. Go with a H97 motherboard and choose a different hard drive. WD Green is very slow and you'd be better off with a WD Blue or Seagate Barracuda. Go with Windows 8.1 normal version. There is literally no benefit for Windows 8.1 Pro unless you're part of a business. Normal W8.1 is significantly cheaper.

Now, with the saved funds you can either go right ahead and order, or upgrade your case or graphics card.

Thank you
