I have put together a PC System for around $800 Canada prices. I am wondering if the PSU will have enough wattage. I have been looking into a lot of low wattage components. I will also be overclocking the CPU to about 4.5GHz.

I have listed all the components for you guys. But I have already the SSD and HDD.

This build is temporary. I picked the Asus MoBo because I will be upgrading to the i5 4690k when I work again next summer. As well as the video card. The MoBo is also SLI-Ready which is another reason I picked it.

CPU: Intel Pentium G3258 3.2GHz Dual-Core Processor
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master V8 GTS 82.0 CFM CPU Cooler
Motherboard: Asus Z97-A ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
SSD: Kingston SSDNow V300 Series 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
HDD: Western Digital Caviar Blue 750GB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Video Card: Asus GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB Video Card
Case: Cooler Master HAF 912 ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply: Corsair CX 600W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX

Is my PSU good enough for this build as well as my future build?

That computer can run on a 450W psu, so yes that psu is plenty. A 600w psu can handle pretty much any single card on the market today so you will be fine upgrade wise.

Just a heads-up, 750 ti's cant sli.

EDIT: i would suggest just getting a hyper 212 evo cooler. Also any particular reason for a 750GB not 1tb hdd?

The SLI Ready is for when I upgrade the video card. It also supports the CPU well for overclocking. Where as a cheaper H81 would not do well when I want to upgrade to an i5 to overclock.

I will look into the hyper evo. Its a 750GB 7200RPM. I have a couple around my house from previous laptops. I plan on using the 2.5" bays. If I get a 1TB it will be 3.25".

Thanks! I'll look into changing the PSU. I have heard about Kingston's SSD's not being the greatest. I have one in my laptop now. But scared it will fail randomly (happened to a friend). Samsung is my next choice for SSD.

Would the 550 be good when I upgrade to i5 and lets say GTX 970 GPU?
