First Gaming Rig: Will these work together ?

So I picked out some components that, in my opinion are pretty good, but since I'm inexperienced, I was just wondering if these are compatible and offer quality for the money. Any advice or suggestions are extremely helpful.

PC Parts
CPU: Intel Core i5-3350P 3.1GHz Quad-Core

Motherboard: ASRock Z77 Pro3 ATX LGA1155

Memory: Corsair 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600

Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 250GB 3.5" 7200RPM

Video Card: MSI Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition 2GB

Case: Antec P280 ATX Mid Tower

Power Supply: OCZ 500W ATX12V / EPS12V

But that motherboard you suggested is really good for its price, so my suggestion would be sticking to that motherboard and get an i5 3570k, since it's much more powerful and overclockable, but it costs $45 more. Or you could buy 4th gen CPU and motherboard (i5 4xxx and Z87)

Probs not going to overclock. What motherboards would you recommend then? Going back to the search...
