So after I had build the PC and loaded windows 10 on to the hard drive I started to load the drivers for the mother board and video card but something weird started happening. Sometimes it would freeze at different points ether during the windows boot process, on the login screen, or in the actual account. I haven't been able to see any pattern yet as to when it freezes.

Any help would be well appreciated as Ive been working with this computer trying to get it to work.

OK, no freeze with single ram stick but freezes with 2. Atleast we have identified the issue here.

Got a friend's pc to test it out? But I need a bit more clarity here : single stick running at stock 2400mhz no freeze, 2 sticks at 2400mhz causes freeze. If that's the case, try it at 2133 mhz. Or you can see a performance benchmarking for your ram model and maybe run it in custom timings.

Ram defects are rare, but they do happen. We just have to eliminate that option to be sure.

oh i forgot to mention in an earlier post that the one stick in slot one stopped working after installing the drivers so no combination of memory will work.

Yeah my bios is latest version, and i cant check the ram because it wont fit in my other computer or my friend's computer.

Ok well thats what i mean then is that neither mine or my freind's computer can use ddr4.
