[SOLVED] First PC Build: Just got my Asus motherboard, and it didn't come with screws. How do I know what screws to use to secure the mobo?

As the title says.

I bought an Asus Maximus VII Hero from eBay, and the seller didn't include the I/O shield or any screws. I've just ordered an I/O shield from another eBay seller. But now I am left trying to figure out what kind of screws I need to secure the mobo in my case (Corsair 4000D Airflow).

The case I bought new and came with a box full of screws which are as follows:

  • Fan Screws (Short) x20
  • MBD / HDD Screws x18
  • ODD / SSD Screws x8
  • Motherboard Standoff x1
  • Washers x8

Am I able to use any of these screws to secure the motherboard into the chassis?

Sorry if this is a noob question.

Solution
Normally the standoffs and screws are matched, obviously, since you wouldn't want to use a screw with a different length or thread pitch or diameter than what was intended to be used with that specific standoff whether the type that is built into the case motherboard tray already or the type you have to screw in before installing the motherboard.

What is the model of your case, and can we assume that since you say it only came with a single motherboard standoff that the rest of them are integrated into the case?
