[SOLVED] First thing to do after building my first Gaming/light-work PC ?

After years of suffering with my i3 laptop from 2013, i finally collected money and i bought parts and built my first computer it was exciting indeed loved every part of it, althought i forgot my DVI cable because o kept my old monitor and it uses both VGA and DVI so i don't even know if everything is working well, i'll have to check it out the next day, although the computer seem not to make error beeps nor reboot so that's a good sign, however what's the next step, is there new tweeks to do in the bios, modes ? what's next ? should i install windows and updates/drivers and and test and benchmark my system, i have been out of the game for a long time now, just got back.

Install windows as per this guide:

Install drivers directly from the manufacturers website (not using a driver updater or the discs).
I wouldn't worry about benchmarks, just install your software and have a go
