Hello Community,
I'm not new to PC gaming but I've definitely been out of the game for a few years, had an old Dell XPS that wasn't too awesome but never had a desktop. I usually play Dark Souls or Minecraft with not many problems on my current tool but have just come across Star Citizen while its still in alpha and I really want to get into it because its the kind of game I have been looking for and definitely want to support it. I've decided on a desktop because I would rather have the power and cooling options rather than portability. So with that in mind I feel I don't have the current technology knowledge to be able to compare parts myself to be able to build the computer I need. This will also be the first time I'll have fully put together a computer, so any outstanding video tutorials and tools needed would be helpful.
A few years ago I bought an HP Envy 15" touchsmart for only school really.
It's Specs are as follows:
AMD A10-5750M 2.5GHz with Radeon HD Graphics
AMD Radeon HD 8650 Video Card (I'm guessing its discrete because I had to do a system scan to find out the Model and Drives.)
12 GB RAM and 1TB HD
Windows 10 Home Edition.
So far I have been able to play SC on low or medium for at least a few hours without it getting annoying that my frame rate is just too low to seriously enjoy the maneuverability of my 315P let alone get into a space duel. I know the game is still in alpha so I will wait until the game is at least in Beta and a launch date confirmed before ordering parts but I would like to know the scope of performance I would need in order to accomplish this. I have done days of research on forums and websites for the differences between GPUs and CPUs and I can only really know for sure from experience, which I have little, so now I ask the people.
What I'm looking for is to be able to play SC on at least 1080p maybe 1440p by the time of the full release, on High settings with at least ~40-50 fps, sounds pretty realistic. I will most likely start a recording blog for my adventures also so there's a small performance taker. I do have a budget of around $1000, maybe up to $13-1400 if I Needed to spend the extra few hundred out of pocket as I'm using my tax return to kind of "invest" in a new machine for the next few years that I'd hope it will last.
Anyway, I do know that the game engine will be optimized for the Radeon Series Graphics, needs at least 8gb RAM so I have kind of built around those. I wouldn't know what Motherboard, Cooling system, Power Supply, Case, Monitor, or any other gadgets I might need or what is all compatible. I have gone to PC Parts Picker and kind of thrown together a bunch of what I believe are most likely the best recommendations to others on the same subject but, again, I would like to know what would be best for me, as everyone's needs and budgets are different. anyway, here is the link to the 9 parts I've scouted the internet to find info on:

Please let me know any and all thoughts and recommendations for replacements or even full builds that I might now know about yet! Thanks in advance!
