Don't go for an i7-7700K at this point. It's a couple generations old, and core counts have increased since then, making it way overpriced for what it has to offer. There are 6-core processors in the $200-$250 range that offer better performance for less, like that i5-9600K which should be slightly faster overall, or a Ryzen 3600 if you are willing to trade a small amount of lightly-threaded performance for additional multithreaded performance.

The 1070 Ti is also from the previous generation, and is no longer being manufactured, so prices on that card are not attractive either. Nvidia's newer RTX 2060 or AMD's Radeon 5700 offer a similar or slightly better level of performance for under $350, and in that $500+ range, you can now get a 2070 SUPER that's similar in performance to a 1080 Ti, plus it offers acceleration of raytraced lighting effects in the few games that currently support them.

And if you want a hard drive for bulk storage, I would go with at least a 2TB model, since they don't cost all that much more. Or, if you don't think you'll need quite that much storage, it might be worth considering a 1TB SSD to replace both, since those can be had for around $100 now.

That build seems like it would have been a good option a couple years ago, but not so much now that more capable hardware is available for less.
