I'm planning on installing a gt 610 (I know it's a crappy card but it was giving to me for free), but I don't have a good idea on how to install it. I can manage to actually install it to my motherboard, but i dont know what to do after that. Also, do i have to connect any cables to the card? I see there's a HDMI output and input. Thanks!

Try 1 back from the beta version(wqhl) certfied, download and (save as) then go to my computer to find what usb your stick is in and save it to there. should say removeable media in one of the drive locations.Once its saved then just double click on file to start the install. Restart your computer. I have been fighting some issues on a new GPU install myself not sure yet if its due to the integrated graphics I have or what. I am just starting to build a new (gaming) rig as my amd phenomx4 805 is nut cutting it anymore.
Before you do anything, go to the card manufacturers website, look up the card, and get the latest drivers for it. Save the driver to a USB stick. (look this up on youtube if you must).

1) Unplug the PC's power, and hold down the power button to discharge any leftover power in the system. Touch the PC case to discharge any static you may have built up on your body.
2) Put the card into the motherboard carefully and secure it so it doesn't fall out and damage the motherboard.
3) Plug in the HDMI cable to a monitor and make sure you close the PC case. Put power back into PC.
4) boot the PC, install the drivers from the USB stick, and then restart the system. You should be good to go.

Which one do I download? It seems like every one of them is in BETA. http://www.geforce.com/drivers
And how do I download it Into the USB, then install back into the PC? (I know it's a pretty newbie question, I felt silly typing it. But I want to make sure I don't mess this up.) Also I heard there's BIOS or something?
