Question First Time Pc Build

Hello so I’m new to this whole Pc situation so I been learning quite a bit about it.I’m willing to save money up so I can buy my first pc which I might go to the 2000$ range or a bit more.What I’m trying to learn is what type of Gpu,CPU,motherboard ect I need cause I don’t know what I’m doing.I found videos but I can’t understand it since it’s to complex for me to understand these type of things so any help would be appreciated.

You have a nice budget. Is there anything you can salvage from a previous PC (keyboard, mouse, monitor, etc)? That will open up some savings that can be applied to other parts.
