Fist gaming PC build?

I am soon going to build my first gaming PC (moving from consoles), and I was wondering if you could tell me how well off I'd be with these parts: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/TnG6gs
My budget is about $1000 MAX, with my hopes of it being around $800-&900. My goal is to get an average of 45 fps on either 720 or 1080p. Thank you!

PSu is junk. Change for Antec, XFX, Seasonic, EVGA (G2,B2)

Cooler is junk as well. Get a Hyper 212 EVO at minimum. That cooler you have isn;t better than the stock one.

You need a Z97 board to overclock, no an h97 board
