Hey everyone, im trying to upgrade my prebuilt computer that I got from Ibuypower last year and im set for the i3 8100 but I just cant figure out what motherboard to get with ram.

My Specs are

Case: Ibuypower Source 210 blue (with window)
Power supply: Al-d500exp
Current Mobo: 760 gma p34 (fx)
Current Proccesor: Fx-4300
Ram: 8GB ddr3 @799mhz

If you could figure out what motherboard and ram that could fit into my computer that would be greatly appreciated, As for price range I would like to stay under 400 or at least a little bit over.

You should look for motherboards that are the ATX or microATX size. Those sizes are what will fit in your pc. As for the exact motherboard, it depends on what you will use the computer for. If you need something very durable and reliable, I would recommend an Asus Tuf brand motherboard. If you want something with more bang for buck, but not as much reliabily, get an MSI motherboard. I'm not saying MSI is unreliable, but it is not as reliable as Asus Tuf.
