Hello,
As of yesterday, I've been having problems when i run videos. Every time i run a video the audio runs perfect, but the video plays in a semi-slowmode way (kind of like when you press the rewind button once on a dvd, maybe a little bit faster) so the video falls behind audio, and then after a few seconds the video skips so it synchs the audio again for 1-2 seconds, then it runs slowly again, falls behind the audio, skips and synchs again, and so on.

At first i thought it could my browser (opera), so i opened firefox and the problem continued.

I also noticed that the problem is not as noticeable in some sites like youtube (in youtube it seems like the video is just behind the audio by 1-2 seconds, but it never seems to skip like on the first example i mentioned) but very noticeable on other sites like twitch.tv video archives (this is where the first example with the skipping happens).

I've had this computer for years, and I've never had this problem before, nor have I downloaded anything for several days which would cause this problem.

Particularly though, i have auto-updates on Adobe, which I actually installed 2 days ago, but since it applies once the computer is rebooted (which I didn't do until yesterday when the problem appeared) so that's the only clue i have which may have caused this problem. Could it be that?(And if it is, how can i fix it?) Or might it be something else?

Also, I'm not a computer savvy, so excuse me if this question is posted on the wrong section.

I just started having this problem today. I remembered that this morning I got a prompt to update Adobe Flash player. So I went back and did a System Restore (Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools) and I restored my computer to yesterday's settings. Problem solved.

Since your Adobe auto-updated two days ago, I would pick a point before that date. Hope this fixes your problem.

Wired or wireless connection ? Have your ISP check your connection. Maybe having bandwidth shortage.

Wired, but the videos are buffering normally, they finish loading way before the actual video ends, the audio is fine too, the only problem the video having this delay/lag.

Hehe, i did the exact same thing as you by myself, and just as I was about to close this thread saying i fixed it i saw your answer.

But yeah, I did a system restore and it got fixed, so it was the adobe flash player update that messed things up, chose you as best anwer anyway, since your answer would've fixed the problem if I didn't know how to solve it.
