Watch the, now edited, "colorful" language, please. Thank you.
So I have my final pc piece coming monday which is my gpu. I have everything else at home ready to be built. Ive never actually built a computer and waited on a part so my question to yall is, is it safe to build it all the way to a point then install the gpu and fire up monday? Concerns are stuff like the thermal paste application, any effects of just leaving that there on the cpu with the cpu cooler? The short and simple is: is it okay to half build it and leave it sitting without <<EDITED>> anything up or should i wait on my gpu for safe measure?

It is fine to build the PC halfway and then add GPU later.

If using a CPU with integrated graphics you can even boot the PC and double check everything works until the GPU arrives
Ill be runnin a ryzen 5 3600x which i believe has integrated graphics. Pretty sure most new cpus do now.

Actually a 3600x doesn't have integrated graphics. You will need to wait on the GPU.

Intel -f CPUs lack IGPU.
AMD Ryzen -g CPUs are the only ones with IGPU.
Ah okay, learn something new everyday. Would you recommend waiting on the gpu or is it still cool just to build everything before hand and install the gpu later?
