Do it exactly how you flashed it to 1011, except this time have 1010 downloaded onto the floppy and load it instead.

"Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one"

1. Go to the download section of your motherboard manufacturer's website and find your desired BIOS revision.
2. Download the file(s) to your hard drive.
3. Unzip these files to a bootable floppy. Usually you download a BIOS flash utility (for example, AFLASH.exe) in addition to the update. Be sure to copy the flash utility to the floppy with the unzipped BIOS files.
4. Turn off your computer and boot off of the floppy with the flash utility and new BIOS revision on it.
5. Type "aflash" (or whatever the name of the flash utility is) at the A:\. The utility will then prompt you to save your current BIOS -- be sure you do this!
6. Follow the instructions until the computer tells you that the BIOS flash was successful. Don't ever turn off the computer during the flash process until you get the success message, or you will probably end up with an expensive doorstop.
7. Exit the BIOS flash utility, remove the floppy disk, and reboot your computer. You should now see the newest revision number at boot up. Enter the setup and check your settings.

ok i just tried that, i downloaded the rev1010 and aflash utility. and put it onto the bootable disk. i then booted with the bootable disk saved the old bios and then tried to install the new one and i got a file open failure message. any idea how to fix this?

Download the BIOS rev. again. Make sure it's the correct rev. for your mainboard.
Use a brand new floppy, format it and scan it for errors then make it bootable.
Repeat the steps mentioned before for flashing the BIOS.
Also don't write protect the bootable floppy while flashing the BIOS.
