Question Fn key cannot be turned off on Gateway laptop

I just bought a Gateway GWTN156-7BK laptop and so far the only real complaint is that I have to keep hitting Fn+F5 to refresh, among other common Fx functions. I did not see an option in the Bios that governs this feature, and there is no Fn Lock key on the keyboard. There has to be a way to turn this off

what does customer support have to say about the issue?

if it is something that you cannot ascertain from the included or online manual then you should take it up with their support.

good chance your system will be RMA'd for a replacement if they have no easy solution on hand.
