For anyone interested in running MacOS on x86...

There's a complete list of known compatible hardware devices for anyone interested in getting MacOS to work on their Intel/AMD box.

AMD processors don't work so well "out of the box." However, one that does is the AMD 3200+ Venice core. Why that particular clock speed/core works without patching is beyond me.

Anyways, it's possible to run Mac OS Tiger 10.4.x on an AMD machine with patching. About half the Intel processors need no patching.

wow reckon apple is going to have a heck of a time trying to stop this.

seems like just a week ago they shut down a site for doing this.

They will probably be best off to let the cloning begin.

I ran MacOS X.4 through VMWare on my P4 2.6GHz, it was pretty damn slow but was pretty nifty too. I showed my mac-4-life friend, he was astonished, lol. And kinda scared hehe.

eh bin there do that

yeah it fun and all but in the long run wasn't worth the time.

apple wont stop this they just cant. besides they wont support it. can you imageing some calling up and asking for support on a pc running Mac OSX. that would be funny.

i think i might try that see how it goes.
