Question Force hardware acceleration for the particular software

Hi, is there a way to force a program use hardware acceleration? the software is a DAW (digital audio workstation) Cockos Reaper. it is not a 3d application. and the windows is 8.1

I already did it, and actually I started the thread about the issue, and yet I don't have any useful answer... so here I am

If all you know about adding numbers is by hand, with pen and paper, even if you have calculator available - if you don't know how to use it, you keep doing it on paper. No "thidr party" can help that, unless said "third party" kicks you out altogether.

You can't just tell an application to use 'hardware acceleration'.
It has to be written to do that.
