format before installing XP Pro?

If I do a clean install of XP by formatting within setup, should I worry about installing the DriveGuide software that came with my 45GB IBM Deskstar 75GXP? Is it okay if the BIOS does not recognize the disk as being as large as it is?? Thanks.

You dont have to worry xp will run it fine.
