Format

Hello,I can't download my pictures on the computer becuase it keep sayin i have to format the disk and drive

Are you trying to save/transfer the pictures onto a hard disk? Is this hard disk newly installed? If so, the disk must be formatted before it can be put to use.

Make sure you select the correct drive when doing this.

Formatting (NTFS) can be done in Windows Explorer by right clicking the drive and selecting 'Format'
OR
By going into Control Panel ---> Administrative Tools ---> Computer Management ---> Storage ---> Disk Management. Now right click on the hard drive and select 'Format'

After formatting, the hard disk is ready for use.

format it and then continue i have experienced that before
then get an updated antivirus and scan it
