Formatting RAID 0 setup

Hello,
I have 2x 1tb hdd's in raid 0, my OS runs on it but ive installed a SSD recently and want to install windows on that.
So my question is, can i just format the raid 0 setup in the windows installer like with a normal format and then install my windows to the ssd? I bought this pc preinstalled and have never had my hdd's in raid 0, sorry if this is a stupid question but google didn't help alot

Are you asking if you can format the RAID while doing the Windows install to the SSD?

No, I just want to know if the RAID will still work properly after formatting them, but just as storage

I assume you setup the RAID in the MB BIOS. Yes, it will still work properly.
