Greetings everyone!

This is my first message to a forum after good 15 years and now I realized it is something that I really miss :) Anyway, let me get straight to my issue with my mid-tier pc.

Instead of a lengthy explanation, I'll share a link to a gameplay video of mine and userbenchmark test results to help you visualize the problem. In the gameplay video, you'll notice that my fps %1 low value drops from 240 fps to 10 fps, causing stuttering in the game.

This problem specifically occurs when I play PUBG. While I don't play many other games, the ones I have played so far have been smooth as butter.

Here is my built:

CPU:
AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D
CPU cooler: Asus Rog Strix LC 2 240
Motherboard: Asus Rog Strix B550-f Gaming wifi ii
Ram: G-Skill Trident Z Neo 2x16 GB DDR4 3600mhz CL16
SSD: Kingston SKC3000D2048G 2TB
GPU: Asus Rog Strix RTX 3070 Ti Gaming OC 8GB GDDR6X 256 Bit
PSU: Asus Rog Thor 850W 80+ Platinium
OS: Windows 11 Pro
Monitor: BENQ EX270M 240Hz 1080p

Bios, chipset and all drivers are up to date.

Tried many things but could not find any solution yet. Is there anyone who might have an idea about what could be causing this issue?

Thanks in advance.

Use Task Manager and Resource Monitor to observe system performance while gaming.

Use both tools but only one tool at a time.

Open the tool window and leave the tool window open. Simply just watch until the system is stable - nothing changing.

Then game as usual: Watch for what changes or happens in the tool window when the stuttering occurs.

It may take a bit of trial and error to get the observation process working in a way that allows you identify a potential culprit(s).

E.g., Some background app launching and attempting to update, backup, or phone home.

Another tool that can help is Process Explorer (Microsoft, free).

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/process-explorer

End objective simply being to discover what system resources are being used, to what extent, and by "what" when stuttering occurs.

Thanks a lot for the answer gonna try.

As an information, during my previous observations with HWinfo and etc there were no peek on the temps, clocks, pings or anything irregular thats gonna bother me. Everything was looking normal except the huge drop in fps.
