Basically I was overclocking my GPU and my computer crashed (white screen) I was maintaining relatively stable overclock on my GTX 970 Direct CU ll when playing a game it crashed so after restarting I thought I'd benchmark my GPU again at the stable clock speed on 3D mark my previous results were 11512+ on firestrike but now only getting 6000 with low FPS in the tests. physics seem the same but fps checks and combined all low any ideas broke my GPU?

Solution
corndog1836 said"Maybe you did kill it. I don't know what else could cause this in your system........do you have another card laying around did you try reinstalling the card??????? "

under settings in afterburner in the osd (on screen display) tab tick enable voltage reading and also voltage display
then in the list find gpu voltage and tick the show in osd box

in fact you should also enable the other display options like gpu memory and gpu core to make sure everything is operating as it should be when the display shows up in a benchmark

I just helped someone on a different thread who went back to windows 8.1 and everything was back to normal
http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2746273/windows-lower-fps.html

read this thread....make sure you read the last post

Pretty sure though it's not Windows 10 because original fps was okay unless they released a update within 20 minutes which broke it.

that still doesnt tell me much. if you have osd set up in settings you can run a benchmark and you will see in the benchmark some writing at top left while its running take a screenshot then post it .

do you have skype ite easier to message with that. might be able to help you out better. Also i noticed your posted pics from futuremark have 1 difference. Your "cpu" not gpu speed is reading differently on both benchmarks. not sure why they should have been the same.

Add me on skype stupid name (iii-eL3ctro-iii) my pics a Pin lol

Clean install, my vcore is low on my GPU

here is a google search of windows 10 driver issues.

I would revert back to previous windows.... its easy to do... THIS IS THE SOLUTION... I lost sleep over your issue... I have been researching like an animal about this ... I could be that you updated to windows 10 and didn't do a clean install or immature driver and bios for your motherboard and gpu,. I don't think you broke your GPU. either way its definitely windows 10!!!!!!!!!!!!! sorry I didn't come to this conclusion earlier...

I've tried Windows 7 yes no 8 same issue overall even lower with it been WIndows 7 was the same as a GTX 550

DAM.. I was sure I had it!!!

Lose my Windows 10 activation so not worth it done it today had to call Microsoft they said they could activate product key if done again.

I bought another GPU same one and works okay so obviously hardware issue GPU still works and still looking for a soloution for possible perfect SLI.
