Question FPS drops after failed PSU swap

I wanted to switch my PSU out for a new one because it was suddenly crashing at random times. I got my new PSU, plugged in the cables but the PC didn't work- some things turned on but it never actually booted. Frustrated, I put my old PSU back in and after a lot of errors and weird bugs (pc automatically turning off after being turned off) it turned on, but now I have lower FPS in video games- (Warzone, 140fps to 80-100FPS) and Minecraft 200 to 100fps~
What could cause this and how would I fix it?

check the cpu/gpu temp?

fixed- it had reset my CPU and memory overclocks.
